I managed to do some work today on Kyrie. Here's some pics of my sketch book process, WIP shots, and a shot of my palette.
Here I just wanted to show a subtle difference. The next pic is after I did some glazes to the gold shadows using blue - in the above picture the gold really pops, but I wanted the model to keep its cold and heavy appearance. I'm hoping it'll pay off in the end, by providing a nice contrast with the base, which will be warmer.
I'm really enjoying this model!
